I have lived in the Turlock/Modesto area my entire life, and have been swimming off and on for the better part of it, over 30 years! I took a long break from swimming 20 years ago to raise my daughters, yes, they survived! I now have an 11 year old son, who I explained a little bit about on my Home page. He is such an inspiration! He never gives up, and is the happiest little guy I know! It reminds me that no matter how bad we have it, there is always someone who has it worse... I am an amputee, but am fortunate enough to be ambulatory, I don't experience the limitations that most people in wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, etc. have to deal with on a daily basis. I've been blessed with amazing parents who believed it was important to raise me with a sense of determination, I never felt, or believed I was disabled, I still don't.. Seeing the world through my kids eyes has taught me a lot about life and love, they are and always will be three of my biggest inspirations! I have a couple of very close friends, old, and recent who's inspiration challenges me to do better.. You know who you are..
I am at a very happy time in my life, it is my goal to put more smiles on the faces of people who live with challenges and hopefully this website will help me accomplish that! Every dollar made through this website will go toward my devotion of making life a little easier for special needs kids of all ages!
